The afternoon of 15 March brought us one of the first great moments of joy of the 2026 Fallas. The Junta Central Fallera awards announcement confirmed that our children’s falla had won 8th Prize in Section 20 and 3rd Prize for Wit and Charm.

These two awards have a special meaning for Pintor Domingo. This year, we took on the challenge of competing in a much higher section than in previous years. We knew it would not be easy, but our children’s falla rose to the challenge and earned not one, but two awards.

The result recognises the work behind “Fem massa fem”, our project for the 2026 Fallas. We would especially like to congratulate and thank our artists, NinotX, as well as everyone who played a part in making it a reality.

And after hearing the results, it was time to enjoy them. On Monday, 16 March, our children went out together to collect the awards and parade through the streets, bringing the two new banners home to Pintor Domingo.

It was a particularly special moment for our children’s commission. Two awards, yes. But above all, the satisfaction of taking on a difficult challenge, stepping up to compete in a higher section and showing that Pintor Domingo could be right there among them.

“8th Prize in Section 20 and 3rd Prize for Wit and Charm. Two new banners that are now back home.”
