Located in the El Pilar-San Francesc sector, we are one of the fallas with the longest history in the city of Valencia.
Falla Pintor Domingo
Guillem de Castro
Officially, according to Junta Central Fallera, our commission was founded in 1885, but other sources trace our roots to Santa Teresa Street, where as early as 1881 a falla was planted under the name Pintor Domingo-Santa Teresa, located between La Parra and Santa Teresa streets, which means we can proudly say we have more than 140 years of history.
A 2026 that begins stronger than ever
The year 2026 arrives as one of the most exciting and meaningful chapters for our commission. We have experienced remarkable growth, welcoming new falleros who are already actively involved in our daily life and bring renewed energy. We also recover something truly special in the history of Pintor Domingo: we once again have four representatives, something we had not enjoyed for many years. Gorka, Carolina, and Sofía will represent us this year together with our President, Alfonso. The beginning of the exercise came with great joy: our Children’s President, Gorka, was the winner of the JCF Drawing Contest, a recognition that reflects the talent and enthusiasm of our children’s commission.
A new chapter opens—one filled with enthusiasm, growth, and a shared commitment to a celebration that unites us and that we continue building together.

The Fallas, declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO
The Fallas were declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2016, in recognition of their artistic, social, and community value. This distinction highlights not only the fallas as a creative expression, but also everything that surrounds them: music, satire, neighborhood participation, and shared tradition. At Pintor Domingo, we feel proud to be an active part of this living heritage that shapes Valencia’s identity.
