On May 11, we also celebrate one of the most beautiful and emotional events that our commission has held for over 50 years: the Mother of Honour Day, a day dedicated to paying tribute to all mothers.
In 2026, the Mother of Honour is Mari Carmen Ruiz “Mari”, one of the longest-standing members of the commission, whom we honour for her long-standing involvement, her close connection with the falla and her constant presence over the years. A heartfelt tribute, shared with great emotion by the entire commission.
