Today, our representatives, Aitana and Alfonso, had the honour of attending the procession of the Virgen de los Desamparados, traditionally held on the second Sunday of May in the city of Valencia. They were accompanied by members of the commission, sharing an event deeply rooted in the history, culture and traditions of the city.

The Virgen de los Desamparados, patron saint of Valencia, has for centuries symbolised protection, unity and solidarity for the people of the city. Her procession brings together thousands of people and festive organisations every year, becoming a collective gathering where devotion, tradition and a strong sense of belonging come together.

For the Falla Pintor Domingo – Guillem de Castro, taking part in this event helps strengthen the commission’s connection with Valencia and its most emblematic traditions, sharing as a collective a particularly meaningful day and accompanying our representatives in an event of great symbolic value and devotion to our patron saint.
