On March 19, Saint Joseph’s Day, we began the day with one of the traditional Fallas events: the Mass in honour of Saint Joseph, held at the Church of Santos Juanes.
The day started the way important Fallas days always do: out in the street and together. Part of the children’s committee took part in a parade to pick up our Fallera Mayor Infantil Aitana, sharing that first moment of the day, still carrying some tiredness… but with enthusiasm fully intact.
It was a calm and close moment, experienced with respect and feeling, allowing the commission to come together and start Saint Joseph’s Day as a group, highlighting the roots of the festival and everything that lies behind it.
