Pintores Tumbabolos, Boleros Domingueros and Valquirias de Pintor Domingo. With names like those, it was already pretty clear that our three teams weren’t going to go unnoticed at the 4th El Pilar – Sant Francesc Association Bowling Championship.
Over the two competition days, 18 and 25 June, the bowling alley brought together 12 teams from eight commissions of the Association, with Pintor Domingo there ready to play, but above all to have a great time alongside the other Fallas commissions.
We don’t know whether the pins actually ended up being afraid of us, but we certainly achieved our goal: plenty of laughs, a fantastic atmosphere and lots of noise throughout both days.
The championship ended with Manu, from team Muriller, taking the individual title, followed by Pepelipe, from Falla Ribera, and Javi, from team Juanjo, Javi y Teresa.
We’ll take the great atmosphere, the laughs and, most importantly, the desire to do it all again.
