Spain are world champions once again! The Spanish national team won their second World Cup this Sunday after defeating Argentina 1-0 after extra time, with Ferran Torres scoring in the 106th minute. Sixteen years after South Africa 2010, La Roja can now proudly wear a second star on their shirt.
And at Pintor Domingo, we have experienced this World Cup in a very special way. Over the past few weeks, our casal has become our meeting point for watching Spain’s matches together, sharing the nerves, celebrating the goals and enjoying the national team’s journey all the way to the final.
Portugal, Belgium, France… and finally Argentina. As Spain progressed through the tournament, more and more of us gathered at the casal to experience every match together. And the final night couldn’t have ended any better: watching Spain lift the World Cup.
